Partnering for the Future of Child Care in Reno County

The Reno County Child Care Task Force is taking bold steps to address the ongoing child care crisis in our community. Access to quality, affordable child care is essential for families and vital for our local economy, yet many families face significant challenges due to limited capacity and rising costs.

To tackle this issue head-on, we are seeking a visionary organizational partner to join us in creating sustainable solutions for Reno County’s child care landscape. Through the release of our Request for Proposal (RFP), we aim to identify a qualified organization to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to existing and future child care facilities. This partnership will enable us to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and support the long-term sustainability of child care in our region.

Our Commitment to Data-Driven, Sustainable Solutions

Following a comprehensive market study and the award of ARPA funds, the Task Force set ambitious goals to address the child care crisis in our community. Our mission has been to create sustainable and equitable solutions, backed by reliable data, to ensure that every family in Reno County has access to quality child care.

The funds committed by our city and county represent an investment in the future of our community, and we are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring that these resources have a long-lasting and meaningful impact. By leveraging data and collaborating with key partners, we aim to implement systems and structures that not only address immediate challenges but also provide a strong foundation for long-term success.
